For over 50 years, Cobra Sport has established itself as one of the UK’s leading performance exhaust manufacturers. Designed and manufactured in Sheffield, their products are renowned for their incredible engineering, quality, and performance. As they’ve continued to grow, Cobra Sport Exhausts have developed the need for further office space that reflects the growth and professionalism of the brand.

Prodek were tasked with creating a space for employees that not only allowed them to perform their daily tasks but also developed a space that enhanced collaboration and productivity. Cobra Sport wanted to create an office environment that aligned with their high standards, instilling lasting first impressions amongst customers, suppliers, and partners.

Optimising Use of Existing Space

Rather than expand their premises or be forced to relocate, Cobra Sports looked at optimising their existing floor space with a bespoke mezzanine floor and complete office fit-out.

Prodek designed, manufactured, and installed a quality mezzanine floor that added valuable space without affecting the operational use of the space below. The new floor was completed to a high standard with a full interior fit-out, transformed into a bright, contemporary workspace that balanced the brand’s aesthetics with functionality.

The Prodek team installed glazed partitioning to create private offices and meeting spaces, whilst still maintaining an open feel and allowing natural light to flow throughout the area. Suspended ceilings, modern lighting, fresh air ventilation, high-quality flooring and contemporary finishes were combined to create a comfortable and sleek working environment, complemented with a fully integrated kitchenette for staff.

The standout feature of the new area was the refurbished boardroom, utilised for key customer meetings, supplier discussions, and internal sessions; it showcased the professionalism that has become synonymous with Cobra Sport Exhaust.

As part of Prodek’s full turnkey approach, the Building Regulations approval process was handled alongside the planning permission required for the installation of new external windows, ensuring Cobra Sport maintained a single point of contact from initial audit to completion.

A Workspace Designed for Performance

The completed project has delivered a new modern office that is highly reflective of Cobra Sport Exhaust’s reputation. By utilising vertical space, they have gained important space without compromising on capacity or performance, ready to support long-term future growth.
