CarRax Charles Trent Vehicle Racking System
Single Sided Car Racking
CarRax single-sided vehicle racking allows vehicles to be stored in an individual location, each placed on two cantilever racking arms. Car racking is designed to easily accommodate stock handling by a forklift truck.
Car racking can be supplied to store between 2 and 5 vehicles at a time. Vehicle recyclers also have the option to double storage capacity by adding additional racking components to create double-sided cantilever car racks.
Each vehicle is supported by two 2,000mm long cantilever arms which are bolted directly to the columns; these can be adjusted by 100mm above and below the standard position. Each pair of arms are designed to support a uniformly distributed load of 1500kgs. Heavier loads can be accommodated on request.
Double Sided Car Racking
CarRax double-sided vehicle racking stores between 2 and 5 cars on two sides – up to 10 cars per rack! Vehicles are stored individually on two cantilever racking arms, with or without wheels. CarRax is designed to allow easy forklift truck access to vehicles on both sides of each car rack.
