UNLOCK RAPID LEAD TIMES WITH HIGHLY EFFICIENT STORAGE SYSTEMS
Push-back racking offers storage solutions within a compact system for efficient stock capacity.
Preserving accessibility and optimising storage density within existing premises is essential to enhance logistics and operational efficiency, ensuring they are maximised to their full potential. The integration of robust, dynamic and streamlined racking systems allows for enhanced downstream efficiency and greater workflow across various processes. Similar to live pallet racking, this system utilises the LIFO method (Last-In-First-Out), featuring inclined gravity rollers that automatically bring stock forward as it is picked.
Designed and crafted from cold rolled steel, this racking system processes large volumes of stock within rapid lead times that are simple for forklift operators to access, optimising the square footage of existing premises.
HIGH DENSITY PUSH-BACK RACKING SYSTEMS
LIFO racking systems are designed to have one loading and unloading point for quick inventory access.
With the ability to be used alongside manual handling equipment, such as forklifts or where hand picking is required, push-back racking provides versatile and dense storage capacity within industries that require rapid movement and efficient deployment of goods.
Ideal for space-restricted premises, the system utilises the LIFO (Last-In-First-Out) process, where the last pallet or product placed on the rack is also the first to be unloaded. Due to its dynamic capabilities, push-back racking is a highly adaptable unit in comparison to traditional racking solutions.
Push-back racking storage can accommodate 6 pallets per lane, with an upper weight-bearing capacity of up to 1,200kg. These systems can be designed and adapted depending on the tailored requirements of each unique storage need.
Key Applications of Push-Back Racking
- Warehouses with medium to high turnover
- Ideal for non-perishable and long expiration date products
- Storage for products with lower units
- For warehouses that have a wide variety of product types
- Industries requiring direct access via forklift or manual picking
- Cold and freezer storage

RACKING INSPECTIONS
As a legal requirement, a racking inspection must be carried out every 12 months to ensure optimal safety.
Annual inspections ensure that racking installations comply with Provision and Use of Workplace Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and The health & Safety at Work Act 1974. They must be conducted by a technically competent individual, having received training in accordance with the Storage Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (SEMA).
When a racking inspector has identified structural damage on a moderate to severe scale, the unit must be repaired or taken out of operation immediately and replaced as soon as possible. Our professional engineers conduct in-depth audits and inspections that can efficiently detail any issues, ensuring your establishment remains safe and compliant.
