To support their growing inventory and staff, Prodek were brought into to design, supply and install a first-floor office mezzanine. 53m2 of 1hr fire rated partition wall constructed by a steel stud frame work with two layers of 12.5mm plasterboard each side, insulation in the cavity and a 100mm timber skirting at the base. All board joints to have a tape and fill smooth finish, decorated with two coats of emulsion. This solution created optimum office space and allowed further storage underneath the mezzanine for additional goods in the warehouse.
