Mezzanine Floors For Storage

Standard storage mezzanine floors are designed to carry 4.8kN/m2 which is approximately 500kgs on a standard pallet, however heavier loads can be accommodated. When combined with shelving or other storage systems a mezzanine floor will offer the complete storage solution.

If your building is tall enough rather than go single tier why not consider a multi-tiered installation to maximise the available space. Goods can be lifted to each level via a fork truck and pallet gate within the handrail. If lifting equipment is not available boxed items and pallets can be handled by a goods lift.

All our mezzanine floors are manufactured to current design standards and we are certified to EN 1090 for CE marking the final product.

Mezzanine floors are subject to Building Regulations, however PRO-DEK can make the application on your behalf. Our designers are fully conversant with the latest regulations and communicate with building control inspectors on a weekly basis.

We offer a no obligation design service backed up by 25 years of experience.
